NATA introduces legal plan

By General Aviation News Staff · July 23, 2013 ·

The National Air Transportation Association now offers its NATA Aviation Legal Services Plan.

The Plan is administered by Aviation Legal Services and is exclusively available to NATA members. Eligible companies include aircraft management and charter operators, fractional ownership programs, maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities, FBOs, flight schools, parts manufacturers, and others.

NATA Aviation Legal Services Plan benefits include 24/7 telephone access to an experienced aviation attorney toll-free at 877-4-AIR-LAW (877-424-7529). The Plan also provides legal representation concerning FAA enforcement actions, drug and alcohol program inspections, the FAA Voluntary Disclosure Reporting Program, aircraft accident reporting, and more.

Members may select from three levels of coverage, including either 10, 15, or 25 hours of pre-paid legal services per year. Additional legal service hours are available. Unused hours may be rolled-over into consecutive participation years. Cost of participation begins at $219 per month.

Legal services will be provided by The Aviation Law Firm, a national firm located near Washington, D.C., managed by Gregory S. Winton.

For information, call 877-4-AIR-LAW (877-424-7529) or visit AvLawServices.com.
