OSHKOSH — Precision Flight Controls Booth is showing off the 2014 version of its DCX Flight Simulator this week at AirVenture.
The DCX, FAA approved earlier this year as an AATD (Advanced Aviation Training Device), offers a newly enhanced ProMotion 3DOF Motion Platform and Dynamic Control Loading, along with many new features, according to company officials.
“The DCX is in a league of its own capable of flying over 35 aircraft flight models including SEL, MEL, Turboprop and Jet with type specific instrument panels and interchangeable hardware,” says Mike Altman, CEO.
Instructors and flight training organizations can introduce new technologies and advanced procedures in VFR or IFR conditions that can be flown anywhere in the world with the DCX’s 225° visual system, worldwide navigation data and avionics with GPS capability, he noted.
