OSHKOSH, Wisc. – OpenAirplane, the revolutionary aircraft rental program added eight operators while at AirVenture 2013. Totaling 14, OpenAirplane operators can be found in Florida, California, Michigan, Illinois, Alaska and many locations in between.
After completing a universal checkout, pilots can rent from any OpenAirplane operator without the need, and expense, of a local aircraft checkout. Aircraft in the system span from light sport to Cessnas, Pipers and Cirrus.
