By General Aviation News Staff · August 20, 2013 ·

Spirit Avionics’ Global Parts Support Division, based in Columbus, Ohio, recently hit a milestone: Achieving $10 million in global aircraft parts sales in less than a year achieving a 60% increase over last year’s sales.

“I tell people all of the time that we are the best kept secret in the industry,” said Jared Kolman, Global Parts Support Manager, “because few people know that we sell and broker aircraft parts on a regular basis.”

The Global Parts SupportDivision of Spirit Avionics distributes, sells, and brokers new, overhauled, and exchange parts and components through its network of OEMs and vendors with discounts offered to customers as high as 40% off MSRP in some cases, according to company officials. The Global Parts Support Division also manages component repairs, rentals, spares acquisition, surplus inventory consignment, and offers Rockwell Collins CASP and Honeywell HAPP avionics warranty programs.

Spirit Avionics is an authorized Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Aircell, and Garmin service facility and is a provider of worldwide aviation services that include aircraft management, avionics, parts sales, engineering, aircraft maintenance, and avionics design and integration.
