FlyRight King Air 350 simulator certified

By General Aviation News Staff · August 29, 2013 ·

CONCORD, N.C. — FlyRight recently received FAA Level-D certification of its new King Air 350 ProLine21 simulator.

The simulator, built by Opinicus, further expands FlyRight’s training for the Beechcraft King Air series of aircraft, according to company officials.

“With the addition of the new King Air 350 simulator we are now able to expand our King Air 90/100/200 training to include Part 135 training, checking, and Type ratings programs to King Air 300 series operators,” said FlyRight EVP Jim Crawford. “Initial, Recurrent and Type Training will be available beginning in September.”

The new King Air 350 simulator is equipped with Rockwell Collins Proline 21 avionics and RSI’s 200° visual system with worldwide terrain capabilities.

In conjunction with this new Level-D full flight simulator FlyRight also added a RockwellCollin’s Virtual Avionics Procedures Trainer for the ProLine 21 avionics suite. It also is an authorized RockwellCollins training provider for pilots on the ProLine 21.

FlyRight is an FAA-approved 142 Training Center specializing in King Air pilot training. Founded in 2003, FlyRight provides professional, FAA and insurance approved simulator-based training to domestic and international, commercial, military and general aviation operators. FlyRight’s training facility is located on the east coast just minutes from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT).
