Knots 2U introduces Pro-Split line of Cessna Strut Fairings

By General Aviation News Staff · September 4, 2013 ·

Knots 2U, Ltd. of Burlington, Wis., has released its Pro-Split Line of strut fairings for the Cessna 150, 152, 172, 180 and 182 models. The Pro-Split fairings make the installation of the strut to wing or strut to fuselage fairings significantly easier by eliminating the need to jack up the wing and remove the strut attach bolts, according to company officials.

The fairings are FAA-PMA approved so they can be installed by an owner or a mechanic with a simple log book entry. Knots 2U offers the fairings individually or as a complete set of four fairings. The fairings are priced at $141 or a set of four for $533.

Knots 2U is a manufacturer of aircraft modification and replacement parts for general aviation aircraft with more than 700 PMA’d parts. It also manufactures fiberglass parts, such as cowlings, wheel pants and fairings for several OEM companies.
