Now available online is a video of the first public demonstrations of the Terrafugia Transition in flight at this summer’s AirVenture in Oshkosh
Flown and driven by Phil Meteer, Chief Test Pilot and Flight Test Coordinator, the the 20-minute demonstrations included flight maneuvers over show center, converting from airplane to car, and driving along the flight line.
For our local supporters unable to make it to Oshkosh you have another chance to see the Transition and to meet the Terrafugia team at the EAA 106 Light Sport Aviation Expo on Sept. 14, 2013 at Lawrence Municipal Airport (KLWM) in North Andover, Mass.
I’m still waiting for the “Flying Semi” – just think of the saving to tax payers for Interstate Highway infrastructure improvements!
I’m not familiar with the PlaneDriven Glassair Sportsman
Send me some info
Thanks
I am curious as to why the Terrafugia gets so much attention in the news and at Airventure in Oshkosh, while PlaneDriven’s roadable Glasair Sportsman has been flying and driving back and forth across the country, including flying into Oshkosh three times. See PlaneDriven.com
