Landmark Aviation to present donation to Able Flight at NBAA

By General Aviation News Staff · October 19, 2013 ·

Landmark Aviation will present a donation check to nonprofit organization Able Flight during the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) 2013 Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Las Vegas.

The presentation ceremony will take place at Landmark Aviation’s NBAA exhibition booth N4515 on Oct. 23 at 2 p.m.

The $8,444.90 donation is a portion of fuel sales collected through a Landmark Aviation partnership with Jet Aviation, Inc.

“We are honored to have Landmark Aviation return for its fourth year as our partner in using aviation to change the lives of people with disabilities,” Able Flight’s Executive Director Charles Stites said. “With Landmark Aviation’s support, we can continue our remarkable success in making it possible for wounded veterans and others to become licensed pilots and receive training for careers in aviation.”

Landmark Aviation has been a supporter of Able Flight since 2009, and this year’s donation will help fund Able Flight’s training and educational programs.

“We appreciate our relationship with Jet Aviation and Able Flight,” Landmark Aviation’s Director of National Accounts Eric Faulkner explained. “We look forward to continuing our sponsorship in the future to help people achieve their goals by building a career in aviation.”
