Landmark Aviation breaks ground on new SAN facility

By General Aviation News Staff · October 21, 2013 ·

Landmark Aviation held a groundbreaking ceremony Oct. 17 for its new San Diego International Airport (SAN) facility.

Landmark Aviation will design, build and operate a new, state-of-the-art FBO campus, with a 20,000-square- foot terminal, a 250,000-square-foot ramp and five hangars on 12.4 acres of airfield.

The new facility will achieve LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council.

“This groundbreaking officially kicks off the much anticipated FBO campus development that we have all been working so hard toward,” stated Landmark Aviation President and CEO Dan Bucaro. “We are excited to get this project started, and to begin construction on a facility that will not only enhance the San Diego International Airport community, but will also provide our customers with a comfortable, spacious terminal with many new amenities.”

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Landmark Aviation operates a network of FBOs located throughout the U.S., Canada and Western Europe. The company offers a wide range of services, including FBO, MRO, charter and management.
