#NBAA13: Sheltair joins Avfuel FBO network

By General Aviation News Staff · October 22, 2013 ·

LAS VEGAS — Sheltair has partnered with Avfuel FBO network, a global supplier of aviation fuel and services. As part of the Avfuel FBO Fuel Network, Sheltair customers will be able to receive AVTRIP rewards points and benefit from Avfuel’s contract fuel program.

Sheltair is one of the largest privately owned networks of FBOs in the United States.

Avfuel’s Vice President of Sales Joel Hirst said,“This partnership is mutually beneficial as it raises nationwide visibility for Sheltair and also broadens the availability of Avfuel products and programs. Sheltair is a progressive, stable partner that we are proud to have onboard.”

“The Sheltair team felt that the Avfuel program delivered all of the components we were looking for and, combined with Sheltair’s strengths in service, brought the greatest value to our customers,” said Chris Rollins, Sheltair’s COO. “Both Sheltair and Avfuel focus on delivering superior customer service. This aligned goal makes Avfuel the right choice as we grow the Sheltair network.”

Sheltair is a privately owned aviation development company, consisting of VIP ground handling, property leasing and construction management throughout Florida, Georgia and New York in the United States. The company provides full-service FBOs to the aviation community at 14 of their 20 airport properties and employs more than 300 people throughout the network.
