Jet Aviation completes ramp and hangar expansion at TEB

By General Aviation News Staff · November 6, 2013 ·

TETERBORO, N.J. — Jet Aviation recently completed a ramp and hangar expansion at its FBO at Teterboro Airport (TEB), just in time for SuperBowl 2014.

Jet Aviation expanded its TEB ramp by 70,000 square feet, bringing the total facility size to more than 1.6 million square feet. The added ramp space allows room for 20-25 aircraft depending on the type and size, FBO officials said.

In addition, the company also renovated a 20,000-square-foot maintenance hangar. The extra space and additional offices provides an increased capacity to serve clients and their maintenance needs, company officials noted.

These enhancements were completed in preparation for Super Bowl XLVIII, which will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in February 2014.

“We’ve made important improvements to our Teterboro location, and the extra ramp and hangar space gives us room to easily accommodate the influx of clients who will be in town for The Big Game,” said John Langevin, vice president, FBO operations, North America. “We are excited about this historical moment and we are looking forward to being the host facility for the first Super Bowl to take place in our region.”

Jet Aviation Teterboro provides maintenance, airframe and avionics, line maintenance, repair and overhaul. It also provides 24-hour AOG assistance through its Jet Response mobile maintenance service, which can be reached at 877-JET HELP.
