Student Pilot Flight Record Folder now available

By General Aviation News Staff · November 8, 2013 ·

Now available from ASA is a Private Pilot Student Flight Record folder, which helps flight instructors and flight schools organize and document student progress towards private pilot certification.

The folder covers all areas of operation, tasks, and areas of emphasis in the Practical Test Standards. The four-panel layout contains evaluation tools and room for comments.

Each folder serves as a permanent training record and satisfies both Part 61 and 141 requirements, including ground lessons, written exams, flight maneuvers, and flight checks.

Instructors can note accomplishments for each lesson, track student performance, flight hours, aircraft used, stage checks, endorsements, ground school completion dates, and more.

New maneuver items in Preflight Procedures and Emergency Operations include runway incursion avoidance, before takeoff check, and emergency descents.

Price: $2.95.
