Truckee Tahoe Airport joins Avfuel network

By General Aviation News Staff · December 6, 2013 ·

Truckee Tahoe Airport (TRK) in California has joined the Avfuel network to offer Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP points. Truckee Tahoe Airport has also expanded to offer more aviation ground services than before.

“Truckee Tahoe Airport caters to a wide variety of customers visiting our stunning region. Lake Tahoe is just minutes away from our facility. Our facilities are fully equipped to ensure that our customers have everything they need pre or post flight,” said Truckee Tahoe Manager Kevin Smith.

Currently the Truckee Tahoe Airport administration building and terminal offers a restaurant, catering, onsite rental cars, pilot lounge and flight planning facility, as well as many other perks, airport officials said. Ground services include GPU, lav, tug and jump.

Deice is currently not available at the airport but officials said they are investigating the possibility of adding a commercial hangar in 2014 to allow for indoor parking and deicing of aircraft. Aircraft maintenance, rental and an instruction facility are located on the airport.

“We are pleased that Truckee Tahoe Airport has joined the Avfuel network. This facility and its beautiful surrounding area are loved by the customers that fly there,” said Avfuel Vice President-Marketing, Marci Ammerman.
