Merger helps company expand into aviation business

By General Aviation News Staff · December 10, 2013 ·

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Valin Corp., a provider of process control and automation solutions to the technology, energy, life sciences, natural resources and transportation markets, has merged with Lang Engineering Equipment Co. The merger adds an expanded selection of pumps, filters and refueling equipment to Valin Corp.’s portfolio of available products and services, allowing it to expand into the aviation market.

“We’re very excited to announce our merger with Lang Engineering,” said Joseph Nettemeyer, President and CEO of Valin Corp. “We’ve enjoyed working with this company for a number of years and are looking forward to utilizing their expertise. Their extensive knowledge of pumps and filtration equipment will enable us to significantly expand our business and customer base.”

Lang Engineering, originally incorporated in 1951, focuses on small process pumps, filters, filtration systems, heat exchange systems, transfer, metering, OEM’s and refueling equipment. Merging with this company will allow Valin to support clients with custom solutions in a wide variety of applications.

“The most significant aspect of this merger is that it expands Valin’s business into the aviation industry,” continued Nettemeyer. “We can now provide solutions in the form of complete turnkey fueling, pump and filtration systems, a service which was beyond our capabilities up until now.”
