RYE, N.H. — Yankee Pacific Aerospace, Inc, which provides custom structures, components and systems to the corporate aircraft markets, is to be re-named Advent Aerospace, on Jan. 1, 2014. The new name reflects the company’s evolution from a company name based on geographical reach to one reflecting its emphasis on technology, innovation and product development, according to company officials.
“Advent means ‘the arrival of something new,’ and for us, Advent Aerospace means an ever-increasing emphasis on technology and innovation to bring great new products and services to our customers and offer new opportunities for our employees,” said Ken Goldsmith, managing director, upon announcing the name change to company employees. “While the name Yankee Pacific Aerospace was memorable from a geographic perspective, Advent Aerospace better reflects our dedication to pushing the boundaries of new product technology, service commitment and a customer-first attitude.
Advent Aerospace provides engineered products and services to aircraft OEMs, major subcontractors, modification centers and aircraft owners and operators in the corporate, commercial, and government aviation markets. Through divisions located in Florida, Texas and Oklahoma, the company designs, engineers, analyzes, manufactures, tests, certifies and supports proprietary components and systems for aircraft, including specialized interior products for Boeing and Airbus VIP aircraft and anti-skid braking systems for light turbine aircraft.
