CASA GRANDE, Ariz. – Dennis and Barb Crowley’s Just Aircraft Escapade won “Grand Champion” and “Custom Built Best Tube and Fabric” at this year’s Copperstate Fly-In at Casa Grande Airport.
“The Crowleys covered and painted their Escapade using Stewart Systems non-hazardous waterborne system,” said Stewart Systems’ Marjie Stewart.
In addition to covering the Grand Champion, Stewart Systems also hosted the hands-on fabric workshop, which Marjie noted was “well attended both days by novice and expert builders alike. Attending smaller, local fly-ins and gatherings is a great way to gain valuable experience is many aspects of aircraft construction and maintenance.”
The 2014 Copperstate Fly-In is scheduled for Oct. 23-25.
