Flying Musicians migrate to Florida for Sebring LSA Expo

By General Aviation News Staff · January 10, 2014 ·

Members of the Flying Musicians Association (FMA) are flying south to a warmer climate — Sebring, Florida — for the 10th annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo, which kicks off Jan. 16.

SebringExpoLogoThe musicians will provide live music daily during lunch in the Show Center tent, powered by Aviators Hotline, Jan. 16-19.

Additionally, the association will staff an information table, present a forum, “Symphony in the Sky: A Correlation between Aviation and Music,” and be on the air with Expo Radio daily at 10:30 am. Not at the show? You can listen online at LiveATC.net/Expo with FMA life member Dave Shallbetter handling the hosting duties.

John Zapp, President/CEO of FMA, said, “We are excited about celebrating the 10th U.S. Sport Aviation Expo with friends, fellow pilots, and musicians from around the world at the first major aviation event of 2014, our fifth year of existence. This year especially, FMA will see the convergence of efforts made by hundreds to fulfill our mission and outreach.”
