Practical Test Standards for ATP updated

Now available is the updated Practical Test Standards For Airline Transport Pilot and Type Rating.

ASAPTSThe practical test standards (PTS) for applicants seeking their Airline Transport Pilot and Type Rating for Airplane have been updated to include Change 6 (Effective 9/30/2013) and FAA-S-8081-10D for dispatchers.

Reprinted exactly as written by the FAA, this cockpit-sized guide details the type and level of skill and knowledge that must be demonstrated before an examiner can issue a certificate or rating to an applicant.

Also included are references to recommended study materials, as well as guidance on how the practical test standards should be used by both applicants and examiners.

    “Why” do the Feds continue to ‘change’ these standards as we have been flying airplanes for over 100 years and the airline dudes seem to have it right; that is, less the Southwest guys & gals!
