Sean D. Tucker to fly Vectren Dayton Air Show

By General Aviation News Staff · January 16, 2014 ·

DAYTON, Ohio —  Airshow legend Sean D. Tucker will storm Dayton’s skies June 28-29 at the 2014 Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger.

More than 80 million people have witnessed Tucker’s performances in his Oracle Challenger bi-plane. Tucker was bestowed with a 2007 Living Legend in Aviation Award and is a 2008 National Aviation Hall of Fame enshrinee.

He will join the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, fellow National Aviation Hall of Famer Patty Wagstaff, AeroShell Aerobatic Team, Shockwave jet truck and other world-class acts at the airshow.

seantucker“We are thrilled Sean will join us this summer,” stated Michael Emoff, Chairman of the USATS Board of Trustees, producers of the event. “The performers we have scheduled will ensure the Birthplace of Aviation — Dayton, Ohio — will have an amazing air show.”

The Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger is produced by the United States Air and Trade Show, Inc, a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit Ohio corporation that relies on sponsorship and community support to offset the cost of producing the event. The Dayton/Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates the show has a $3.2 million annual economic impact on the region.
