University Aviation Press debuts

By General Aviation News Staff · February 3, 2014 ·

Making its debut is University Aviation Press, a division of Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA).

PrintUniversity Aviation Press (UAP) provides a platform for educators, university professors, and flight training experts to publish and sell their ASA-vetted works via desktop computer, smartphone and mobile tablet devices, including copyright and digital rights management (DRM) to protect their content.

UAP eBooks can be read on any device or application compatible with an Adobe ID, including the free ASA Reader app.

Current titles include the following:

Aerodynamics by Mark J. Dusenbury and Gary M. Ullrich, which offers a review of basic physical principles and vector analysis, lift, weight, thrust, drag, as well as other aviation topics as they relate to aerodynamics.

MTSU AERO 4210: Flight Instructor Fundamentals by Dr. Paul Craig, which contains all the in-class material that will be used during the AERO 4210 course he teaches at Middle Tennessee State University.

Science and Flight by Dr. Scott Ekern, which introduces the basic, yet not always visible to the eye, scientific principles that are essential for flight to be possible.
