Landmark Aviation begins operations at BFI

By General Aviation News Staff · February 17, 2014 ·

Landmark Aviation began operations at King County International Airport (BFI) on Boeing Field in Seattle on Feb. 12 through the acquisition of Galvin Flying Services.

“The acquisition of Galvin expands our footprint into the Northwest,” stated Dan Bucaro, president and CEO. “We are looking forward to being a part of the King County general aviation community, and building a lasting partnership with the airport authority.”

Landmark, operating out of the former Galvin Flying Services facility, provides FBO and charter services. The location offers a VIP lounge, flight planning center, executive conference room, and customs and immigration clearance. Office and heated hangar space are also available.

BFI is one of the busiest primary non-hub airports in the nation, and is just four miles south of downtown Seattle.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Landmark Aviation operates a network of FBOs throughout the U.S., Canada and Western Europe.

I worked for Galvin for 14 yrs. It was a great operation and great people. I do hate to see it go away after a long tradition. Good luck to all.
