Blackhawk names Absolute Aviation Group sales center

By General Aviation News Staff · February 21, 2014 ·

WACO, Texas — Blackhawk Modifications has named Absolute Aviation Group (AAG) in Johannesburg, South Africa, the newest sales center for turboprop performance solutions for Beechcraft King Air 90s and 200s, Caravan 208 and 208Bs, Conquest I and Cheyenne series aircraft.

Based at Lanseria International Airport, AAG is also an authorized parts distributor for Beechcraft Corp. The company also has specialized in providing an independent aircraft acquisition service to companies and individuals wishing to acquire corporate aircraft, handling the entire process through to delivery.

Blackhawk Modifications is celebrating 15 years of operation and 500 engine conversions in 2014. Blackhawk offers aircraft owners and pilots the ability to install new Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) engines with improved hot and high altitude horsepower output, significantly improving cruise speeds and rates of climb, according to company officials.

New P&WC engines approved by Blackhawk supplemental type certificates can be installed in most Beechcraft King Air 90 and 200 models, Piper Cheyenne I and II models, the Cessna model 425, Conquest I and now the Cessna model 208A and 208B Caravans.
