Sporty’s 10th annual fly-in set for May 17

Sporty’s annual fly-in will be held Saturday, May 17, at the Clermont County/Sporty’s Airport (I69) in Batavia, Ohio. In addition to the usual festivities, at this year’s fly-in, the winner of Sporty’s 2014 Van’s RV-12 sweepstakes airplane will be announced at noon.

Exhibitors include Cessna Aircraft, Aspen Avionics, Garmin, Bose, Lightspeed, SkyOx, ForeFlight, Sigtronics and others. Representatives will be on hand to demonstrate their products and answer questions.

SportysSeminars will be hosted by Garmin, Bendix/King, Aspen Avionics, ForeFlight, Air Mod and more.

Sporty’s flight instructors will be on hand to offer introductory flights through Sporty’s Academy, and tours will be available of Sandy’s Airpark at Sporty’s where airport-based homes are available. Aviation Exploring, Cincinnati Avionics and the University of Cincinnati Professional Pilot Training Program will be represented in the exhibit hall.

The event will be held rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
