Million Air Houston slates grand opening

By Ben Sclair · March 19, 2014 ·

HOUSTON – Million Air Houston (HOU), part of the UVair FBO Network, will celebrates the opening of its new FBO facility at Hobby Airport with a grand opening event March 21.

Planned events include runway fashion shows, display of aircraft and luxury cars.

The recent reconstruction more than doubles the size of Million Air’s ramp, with capacity to handle aircraft as large as a Boeing 767. The line service office, overlooking the ramp, has direct access to the ramp as well as a full galley kitchen and other amenities. The seven hangars, five with air conditioned office space, range in size from 2,500-14,400 square feet.

Million Air’s 22,000-square-foot facility features 10 tenant offices, multi-media conference rooms, theatre room, flight planning room and storage lockers for flight departments and tenants.

The dedicated pilots’ lounge has two snooze rooms, private restrooms with showers and security monitors that monitor the lobby and gate access, enabling pilots to watch for passengers.
