Legacy Aviation offers King Air maintenance, mods

By General Aviation News Staff · March 26, 2014 ·

YUKON, Okla. — Legacy Aviation now offers maintenance, modification and repair capabilities to the King Air line of aircraft.

The decision to invest in personnel, airframe and powerplant authorizations, as well as the recent expansion of available hangar space, was made in part because of the large number of King Air aircraft based near Legacy’s Yukon facility, according to company officials.

“Our market research indicates there are nearly 600 King Airs that are based within a 500 mile radius of our facility,” said Raul (RJ) Gomez, president and CEO. “We have maintained strong relationships with many regular King Air clients over the years, giving our technicians a real strong knowledge of the airframe and their systems. Quality and knowledgeable service doesn’t just happen…it’s something an organization works on for years and demonstrates every day to customers. The people at Legacy are all very tenured professionals when it comes to servicing owner flown turbo prop airframes. We want King Air operators to know they’ve got a terrific option nearby with Legacy.”

Legacy recently hired King Air specific maintenance and repair personnel ,as well as PT6 line maintenance and repair technicians. Complete King Air airframe services, inspections, modifications and repair, avionics, engines and propellers are available.

Legacy Aviation is located on Clarence E. Page Airport (KRCE), which has a 7,000-foot runway. Full FBO services are also available, including fuel, crew cars and nearby accommodations.
