North Texas Safety Showdown set for April 3

By General Aviation News Staff · March 27, 2014 ·

DALLAS/FORT WORTH — The North Texas Business Aviation Association (NTBAA) second annual Safety Show-Down event on April 3 at Million Air Dallas at Addison (KADS) Airport will feature more than 10 different presentations and special guest luncheon speaker Ed Bolen, president and CEO for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

This one-day safety day event will include numerous industry experts with presentations on current issues and topics that are crucial to today’s aviation safety culture, according to organizers. In addition to presentations and Bolen’s luncheon address, the hangar will be set up with numerous vendor exhibits.

“We are expecting a full house of area pilots, aviation directors, flight attendants, schedulers, FBO management and anyone in business aviation interested in learning more about aviation safety,” stated Marj Rose, president of NTBAA. “We are so excited to bring this type of educational event to the local business aviation community and look forward to a great day.”

Registration is open at www.ntbaaonline.com and space is limited so attendees are encouraged to pre-register to guarantee attendance.

The program will begin with a continental breakfast and check-in at 7:30 a.m. and will wrap up with a networking reception from 5:15 – 7 p.m.

There will be opportunities to win prizes and chances for a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) or Citation Jet (CJ) type-rating course from CAE SimuFlite will also be available.
