Airguide Publications, the publisher of Flight Guide airport guides and the iEFB tablet app, has ceased operations.
Customers with an iEFB subscription were left to wonder about the updates they were owned after the app was pulled from Apple’s App Store.

iEFB is the private label brand of Tampa-based AnywhereEducation’s eKneeBoard app.
“There are several thousand Flight Guide iEFB subscribers,” said AnywhereEducation CEO Mike Wilson. “We will do right by the Flight Guide iEFB users.”
Flight Guide iEFB subscribers received the following in-app message on Wednesday:
“As you may have heard, Air Guide Publications, Inc. the creator of flight guide publications, and seller of subscriptions for iEFB, Solo and eKneeBoard (Enhanced Airport Information) appears to be no longer operating as an ongoing business.
“AnywhereEducation has stepped up to take care of all of the iEFB and Solo users. Starting today, AnywhereEducation will support you and we will continue your subscription.*
“If you purchased the iEFB, Solo or an eKneeBoard subscription from Air Guide Publications (Flight Guide) we will support your subscription from today forward. You will be able to renew your subscription with us when it expires.
“If you auto-renew your subscription please contact us before your current subscription expires. We do not have your payment or direct subscription information. This will insure un-interrupted service to you when your current plan expires.

Calls and emails to Airguide Publications went unanswered.
