Sandel introduces all-digital AHRS

By General Aviation News Staff · April 30, 2014 ·

Sandel Avionics, a manufacturer of retrofit avionics, has introduced its first all-digital AHRS, the SG102/D, which is identical to the SG102 (MOD2) without the analog interfaces.

The Sandel SG102/D is lighter in weight, and initializes in one minute, which is three times faster than the original SG102, according to company officials.

SandelIt also comes with a selectable low- and high-speed ARINC 429 output, which allows for additional interface options, such as radar systems, satellite communication antennas and FLIR stabilization.

The SG102/D AHRS will be available in May.
