International UAS Expo takes off May 12

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host an unmanned systems and robotics exposition May 12-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Rep. John Mica (R-Fla.), House of Representatives
  • Lt. Gen. Kevin Mangum, deputy commanding general/chief of staff, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command
  • Rep. Frank Lobiondo (R-N.J.), House of Representatives
  • Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell, State of Alaska
  • Mike Walsh, best-selling author of “Futuretainment” and CEO of Tomorrow
  • Dr. Vijay Kumar, UPS Foundation professor, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University of Pennsylvania.

The expo will include the largest display of robotics and unmanned systems hardware in the world. The show will feature 600 exhibitors, as well as technology and country pavilions.

There also will be indoor demonstration areas for air and ground vehicles, as well as more than 100 technical, workshop, and presentations
