EAST ALTON, Ill. — West Star Aviation has been named an approved window repair and replacement vendor for the C21 fleet, which consists of Learjet models 35s and 36s being utilized by the United States Air Force.
West Star has two window repair locations at its East Alton, Ill. (ALN) and Grand Junction, Colo. (GJT) locations, allowing the company to dispatch one of its aircraft window experts to any base worldwide. West Star currently employs five window technicians with a combined experience of 65 years specializing in aircraft windows.
West Star can repair, refinish, or replace windows for most corporate aircraft including Falcon, Hawker, Citation, Challenger, Learjet, King Air, Conquest, Embraer and Westwind.
West Star Aviation specializes in the repair and maintenance of airframes, windows, and engines, as well as major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, surplus avionics sales, accessory services, paint and parts.
In addition to its facilities in East Alton, Grand Junction, and Columbia, S.C., West Star Aviation runs the maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colo., and at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Mo. The company also provides FBO services for transient aircraft at its newly remodeled East Alton and Grand Junction facilities.
