ATP checkride app now available

The new Airline Transport Pilot Checkride App from ASA is now available through the App Store for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. According to company officials, this edition completes ASA’s Checkride App Series and provides study and preparation for the ATP checkride.

ATP appUsing a question and answer flashcard format, the Airline Transport Pilot Checkride App lists the questions most likely to be asked by examiners, check airmen, and interviewers and provides applicants with ready responses.

Based on the Oral Exam Guide Series by Michael Hayes, the app teaches not only what to expect, but also how to exhibit subject mastery and confidence when under the examiner’s scrutiny, according to ASA officials.

Questions can be marked for further study from any subject to create a customized collection of flashcards focused on areas of concern and a student’s particular learning needs.

New questions and answers address recent changes in ATP Certification and experience rules, new rest requirements, and risk management. All questions include references to to study resources where additional information on particular subject areas can be found.
