Victor Technologies creates free web-based learning system

By General Aviation News Staff · June 12, 2014 ·

Victor Technologies has launched a new training site that allows users access to training materials and tools from the company’s website. Content is now available without log in or registration credentials, and it has been optimized for access on mobile devices, officials noted.

Victor Technologies manufactures cutting, gas control and specialty welding equipment under brand names that include Victor, Victor Thermal Dynamics, Victor Arcair, Victor TurboTorch, Tweco, Thermal Arc, Stoody, Firepower and Cigweld.

TrainingPageWith the implementation of an extensive database and use of meta tags, visitors can search for cutting and welding information by brand, process or an individual item using a simple keyword search.

“We want the Victor Technologies’ training site to become the go-to resource of the cutting and welding industry,” says Robert Shigley, Senior Training Manager. “End-users and distributor partners need easy access to a full range of information, wherever they are, and they can easily get it by accessing this site.”
