RANS Fly-In set for Oct. 10-11

By General Aviation News Staff · June 25, 2014 ·

RANS will host its Fall Fly-In Oct. 10-11 at the RANS Factory Strip (8KS4) in Hays, Kansas.

“Our runway is 1,200 feet of sod,” company officials note. “You are welcome to land and tie down at RANS if you can answer yes to the following”:

  • Do have you a plane that lands and takes off easily within 1,200 feet?
  • Are you comfortable with landing at a short strip with obstacles at each end?
  • Do you have your own tie downs?

“We will have parking areas mowed along the side of the runway and checked for gopher holes, but please understand you will taxi at your own risk,” officials add.

If you are not able to land at RANS, you can land at the Hays Regional Airport (HYS).

A full schedule for the fly-in is on RANS website.
