ASA’s Pilot’s Manual Series now available on iBooks

By General Aviation News Staff · June 27, 2014 ·

ASA’s Pilot’s Manual Series is now available on iBooks. This series, which provides coverage of the practical aspects of flying, has been edited by a team of airline, military, and professional pilots, flight instructors, university professors, FAA representatives, meteorologists, members of the AOPA Air Safety Foundation, and designated examiners.

asaEach volume in the series contains more than 500 pages and at least as many original graphics and charts. Helpful notes in the outside margins are included for quick definitions of terms, further emphasis on key points, or explanation of mnemonic devices that the authors have found to be of tremendous benefit to the student.

Review sections follow each chapter, and all air work is depicted graphically as well as textually for maximum comprehension, according to ASA oficials.

The entire series is also available in hardcover book format, and as a money saving eBundle, which includes the hardcover book and an eBook PDF.
