Winner of the Lightspeed Aviation VIP Trip to AirVenture 2014 revealed

By General Aviation News Staff · July 28, 2014 ·

William Klein of Vidalia, Georgia, was randomly selected as the winner of Lightspeed Aviation‘s VIP Trip to AirVenture 2014, a travel package valued at nearly $4,000 that includes lodging, airfare, and a suite of aviation experiences at the world’s biggest fly-in. He was entered into the drawing when he submitted a rebate form for a new Zulu.2 headset he purchased on the recommendation of a Gulfstream test pilot who has four in his personal aircraft.

Lightspeed WinnerA graduate of Embry-Riddle and a project engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace, William has dreamed about working in aviation since middle school. He earned his PPL in 2003 and is working towards his instrument rating. He plans on taking his fiancée along on the all-expense paid trip for two to Oshkosh. Neither has been to AirVenture before.

“It is so exciting that the winner of the VIP trip to Oshkosh is someone that has always dreamed of going and has never had the chance to,” said Teresa De Mers, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, & Customer Support at Lightspeed. “We are delighted to provide this experience for William and his fiancé.”
