Electronic International’s newest engine analyzer approved

By General Aviation News Staff · July 30, 2014 ·

Just in time for Oshkosh, Electronics International has received approval for the newest addition to its engine analyzer family, the CGR-30C. A companion to the CGR-30P, it provides pilots with up to 16 primary replacement engine instruments, including Fuel Level, Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Fuel Pressure, Volts, Amps, and more.

Electronics International designed the CGR-30C to be installed as either a standalone system, or as a companion to the CGR-30P. “If you already have the CGR-30P installed, you can use the existing Engine Data Converter (EDC), which will save you some serious coin,” officials noted.

The CGR-30C comes standard with onboard data recording. Several thousands of hours of data can be recorded on each instrument’s internal memory, and each flight is dated and time-stamped for easy record keeping. All files can be downloaded via an included USB port, and can be viewed and graphed in Excel.
