Avflight opens FBO in popular Michigan tourism destination

By General Aviation News Staff · August 12, 2014 ·

FBO chain Avflight Corporation has opened for business at Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. Operating out of the airport’s General Aviation Terminal, Avflight offers an array of Avfuel fueling products and services, including the jet fuel savings program Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP rewards.

“Avflight immediately recognized the opportunity to add value for customers at Cherry Capital Airport,” said Avflight President Carl Muhs. “We’re incredibly excited to introduce Avflight Traverse City and supply guests with a low-cost, high-quality fueling option.”

Traverse City is Northern Michigan’s premier vacation destination, a stone’s throw away from the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Michigan’s nationally-recognized wine country.

In addition to fuel and Avfuel programs, Avflight Traverse City features concierge services, a pilot lounge area with WiFi and satellite television, flight planning facilities, courtesy vehicles, de/anti-icing services, cargo loading/unloading, charter handling, on-site rental cars, and more.
