Airforms awarded new FAA PMA approvals for Caravans

By General Aviation News Staff · September 10, 2014 ·

BIG LAKE, ALASKA — Airforms continues to grow its line of PMA replacement offerings for the fleet of Caravan family aircraft. Airforms Part Numbers AF2615180-1 (LH Crew Door Panel) and AF2615180-2 (RH Crew Door Panel) are direct replacements for Cessna P/N’s 2615180-1 and -2.

The panels are eligible for installation on all C-208 and C-208B aircraft.

According to Airforms officials, the drop-in replacement of these components on early models will bring a modern look and increased utility to the older aircraft.

Airforms’ parts are identical to the Cessna part and include retaining straps, fire extinguisher recess, large storage pocket, weight placard and certificate pouch, company officials note.

Airforms supplies replacement engine baffles for a wide range of general aviation aircraft. Products also include an expanding line of turboprop aircraft PMA parts, STCs, and hard to source parts for fleet operators. Airforms maintains a FAA approved manufacturing system for PMA parts supported by an engineering department with FAA DER staff engineers.
