ASA debuts Learn to Fly blog

By General Aviation News Staff · September 18, 2014 ·

New from ASA is the Learn to Fly Blog, a place for current pilots, students, and future pilots to learn, explore, and share insights on the foundations of flight and flight training. Find out what it takes to become a pilot, learn the fundamental principles behind the wonder of flight, get test-taking tips, share training experiences with your peers, and learn about careers in aviation.

For student pilots and those considering flight training, this blog is a resource that aids them in acquiring the aeronautical knowledge needed to be successful during and after training, according to officials. Certificated pilots and flight instructors will find this a platform for offering their insights into the training process, as well as providing encouragement and guidance to newer members of the aviation community.

Look for new posts on the Learn to Fly Blog to appear on Mondays and Thursdays. Some topics will be covered in a single segment, while others will have multiple parts resulting in a short series. Topics will range from the very first steps to becoming a pilot, to advanced training concepts. Aviation ground school knowledge and test-taking tips will periodically be presented by an ASA CFI. All blog posts will be archived and accessible from the Learn to Fly Blog home page.

The Learn to Fly Blog is brought to you by ASA (Aviation Supplies & Academics, Inc.).
