NationAir offers complimentary contract review

By General Aviation News Staff · October 20, 2014 ·

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – NationAir Aviation Insurance now offers complimentary contract review to all commercial clients.

NationAir’s contracts partner, Gary Stewart of Ascot Aviation Consulting, will be at NationAir’s Booth #4825 at the National Business Aviation Association Convention and Exhibition Oct. 21–23 in Orlando to answer contract questions.

“Thorough contract review can significantly improve clients’ contractual standing and potentially save thousands of dollars,” said. NationAir President Jeff Bauer.

Former director of contracts for Signature Flight Support, the world’s largest FBO chain, Stewart dissects contracts to ensure they reflect clients’ interests, limit liability, and protect assets, according to Bauer. His written summaries detail contract areas to strengthen in order to reduce risk and transfer liability.

Among the contracts Stewart reviews for NationAir clients:

  • Shared use assets and facilities
  • Pollution and contamination remediation
  • Hangar leases
  • Equipment purchases
  • Avionics dealer or service agreements
  • Aircraft, management charter and lease agreements
  • Airport operating agreements
  • Employment or pilot contract agreements

“Insurance and contracts are inexorably tied together,” Bauer said. “We ensure our clients are getting the most from their insurance by reducing their risk exposure with their contracts.”
