PilotWorkshops offers free ForeFlight manual

By General Aviation News Staff · October 22, 2014 ·

PilotWorkshops has released a free download of its “pilot-friendly” ForeFlight Manual.

The 26-page PDF manual shares tips and techniques for getting the most from the app, with a special emphasis on flight plan operations. While many pilots utilize the popular app, even experienced users can discover better and more efficient ways to make use of its many functions with this publication, according to PilotWorkshops officials.
Pilot Workshops“Our line of pilot-friendly manuals were originally written for popular handheld and panel mount GPS units. They provide direct, step-by-step instructions for accomplishing the important functions pilots need. We decided to make the ForeFlight version free for all pilots since a majority are using ForeFlight and could benefit from this simple, well written little manual,” stated PilotWorkshops President Mark Robidoux.

Since 2005 PilotWorkshops has been delivering proficiency training to general aviation pilots. PilotWorkshops’ team of instructors shares tactics and strategies using the best of today’s technology to help both private and instrument pilots fly more safely. The company’s Pilot Tip of the Week is read by more than 125,000 pilots each week and is available for free here.
