Sheltair expands network

Sheltair Aviation has acquired FlightLevel Aviation Lakeland at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (KLAL) in Florida, bringing Sheltair’s total FBO locations to 15 and the company’s property and real estate holdings and interest to 21 airports in North America.

Sheltair Lakeland will operate out of a recently-constructed 3,200-square-foot terminal with approximately 54,000-square-feet of hangar and office space. The FBO provides general and commercial aviation fuel and ground handling services and offers amenities including dedicated lounges, conference facilities, flight planning, weather and after-hours service. All Sheltair FBOs are members of the Avfuel Branded FBO Network, offering Avfuel Contract Fuel, AVTRIP Rewards, and more.

Lakeland Linder Regional Airport is located off Interstate 4, 40 minutes by car from Disney at Orlando or Tampa Bay. The airport, which features an 8,499-foot runway is  home to the annual SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In and Expo.
