Congrats! I received my private in 1971 and worked for a Beech dealer for almost a decade….still hoping to own and fly a Musketeer or Sundowner. Do you think I ever will?
Thanks guys! Getting my license has definitely been the highlight of the year. Taking my family on their first flight to a fly-in grill out was a blast. Here’s a short clip of us from that flight. http://youtu.be/5jurPSYWEnA

Congrats In the pass as well. I remember my first time years ago as well. Keep up the great work.
Congratulations, Kyle. I envy you young guys getting your first certificate. I still remember the thrill on the day I got my private license and that was in 1968. I’ve since been a military and airline pilot, but the most fun I have ever had with flying is in a general aviation aircraft, preferably with someone else. It’s not as much fun when you’re flying alone. Good luck in the future, Kyle, and you have great looking children.
Congrats in the pass, hope you experience many hours of enjoyment as I have, when you are tempted to push the envelope, picture your lovely children, they can always wait the extra day to get home safely!
Totally agree. Got my ticket at 55 3 years ago. Getting instrument but don’t have to push it so being time flexible ought to be part of IMSAFE.
