By General Aviation News Staff · December 13, 2014 ·

Granby-Grand County Airport (KGNB)  in Colorado has a new name: Emily Warner Field, to honor the first woman hired as a commercial airline pilot in the United States. Warner had a home in Granby for more than two decades and was a regular at the airport which now bears her name, according to a report in the Sky-Hi News.
