Travers and Associates unveils renters insurance

By General Aviation News Staff · December 16, 2014 ·

Travers and Associates has unveiled a non-owned aircraft insurance product designed for renter pilots and flight instructors. Insurance policies can be quoted and purchased online instantly, company officials note.

“This new non-owned and aircraft renter’s insurance product allows the pilot to choose from several coverage options with competitive prices,” said Mike Travers, a partner at Travers and Associates.

Underwritten by Starr Aviation, the policy is one of the broadest in aviation insurance. Once the policy limits are selected, the pilot can purchase the policy with a credit card. Many discounts are available, including Wings Program discounts, Master CFI discounts, SAFE discounts and Claims Free discounts.

Other features include policy options such as the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum policy limits.
