By General Aviation News Staff · December 22, 2014 ·

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Lamar Technologies has acquired Power Products Inc. of Santa Clara, California.

Power Products is a manufacturer of battery chargers, analyzers, MIL Spec. motor monitors and thermistors. It has supplied the aviation and commercial industry as well as corporate, helicopter and military sectors with chargers and analyzers for more than 30 years. All Power Products equipment is manufactured in the USA.

Lamar’s products are well known throughout the industry and are installed on more than 80% of existing general aviation aircraft, according to company officials. Standard and custom products include voltage regulators, monitors and MCUs, as well as battery analyzers and test equipment.

“The Power Products acquisition is a perfect fit to the Lamar product line and we look forward to serving our new customer base,” said Gary Hoffman, Lamar’s general manager.
