Hillsboro Aviation recently unveiled its plans for expansion into new corporate headquarters and an executive hangar at Portland-Hillsboro Airport (KHIO) in Oregon.
Construction will begin in July, with an anticipated completion date in 2016 of the 425,000-square-foot project.
“I feel optimistic and energized about this new phase,” said Max Lyons, owner and president of Hillsboro Aviation. “Our new facility reflects our position as a complete helicopter and airplane service operator and will fulfill any of our customers’ needs, from aircraft and parts sales to overhaul services and international shipping logistics.”
Building plans also include environmentally sound materials and design. Construction resources will be made of recycled materials, while the roof system is designed to accommodate a photovoltaic energy system. Staff and customers will have access to a variety of benefits, including a gym.
