Flying the Grand Canyon

By General Aviation News Staff · March 16, 2015 ·

The latest blog from Gene Lee at The HD Pilot chronicles a flight to the Grand Canyon in his RV-7A. He begins: “It was the first week of May when I took a trip out to Tucson, Ariz., to visit friends. At that point, already being far west of Dallas and relatively so close to the Grand Canyon, I just couldn’t resist going out of the way to see it from my RV-7A. I looked at it as possibility a once-in-a-life-time opportunity.” Read the full post here.Gene Lee at Sedona Airport
