PY Aviation has introduced SlopeVIEW and OISVIEW, enabling “quick and accurate evaluations of FAR Part 77 imaginary airport surfaces and those nasty 20:1 penetrations which are causing night operations to be NOTAMed out of service,” according to company officials.
“Many customers have already benefited from deploying SlopeVIEW and OISVIEW,” company officials noted in a press release. “Norfolk International Airport recently committed to deploying SlopeVIEW and OISVIEW and was able to validate 20:1 penetrations that the FAA had on file. SlopeVIEW and OISVIEW will enable Norfolk International Airport to continue to monitor tree growth and evaluate OE/AAA proposed obstructions in just a few minutes.”
Founded in 2014, PY Aviation offers products and services designed to allow airports and their aviation partners to achieve the lowest possible landing minima, which reduces diverts and go-arounds.
