Eagle Creek Aviation to purchase Montgomery Aviation

By General Aviation News Staff · March 26, 2015 ·

ZIONSVILLE, Indiana — Eagle Creek Aviation Services has struck a deal to buy Montgomery Aviation. The deal includes the FBO and maintenance facility at Indianapolis Executive Airport (TYQ), the FBO at the Frankfort/Clinton County Airport (FKR), and the FBO at the Grissom Aeroplex.

“Montgomery Aviation has a long history of providing customer service over the last 25 years at Indy Exec Airport as well as their other Indiana locations. They, along with Hamilton County, have grown the airport from a small rural airport to one of Indy’s premier general aviation facilities,” said Eagle Creek Aviation CEO Matt Hagans. “Our intent is to continue to build upon what has been established.”

Customers should expect to see few changes during the transition, he noted, adding Eagle Creek Aviation also plans to continue Montgomery’s long tradition of community involvement, including the Open House, Fly-In, and Air Race supporting Down Syndrome Indiana scheduled for Aug. 1.

Eagle Creek Aviation will continue to operate its existing facilities at Eagle Creek Airpark (EYE) in Indianapolis and at Naples Jet Center (APF) in Naples, Florida.
